The label signed her to Arista in 1983 where she was a part of the company for the remainder of her career. Whitney Houston became the top-selling debut record for an artist in the year 1985. The album contained several hit songs such as How Will I Know You're Good to Me, Saving All My Love For you and The Most Beautiful Love of All. It helped her achieve seven US chart-topping singles consecutively which was more than the Beatles. The album's first US year of release, the album sold over 3 million units. It went on to be listened to by more than 25 million people worldwide which earned her her first Grammy. The 1987 follow-up album Whitney which included the hits What Do Broken Hearts Go and I Wanna Dance With Somebody built upon her successes, but it was the 1992 film The Bodyguard (1992) that made her one of the best-selling artists ever. Although her performance in the film and soundtrack was not appreciated, her Dolly Parton cover I Will Always Love You and the album accompanying it were top of the charts all over the world for several months. It was also in 1993 that she was married to Bobby Brown, an ex-New Edition artist who gave her only child Bobbi Kristina Brown.
